Can it be true? Can it really be true? Yes, yes… I daresay it is! The uber long Inu Yasha manga is coming to a close in it’s 558th chapter, after having run for twelve long years.
Quoting Moetron:
“According to Rumic World, Takahashi Rumiko’s fantasy adventure manga series Inuyasha will be coming to an end in next week’s issue of Weekly Shounen Sunday (no.29) — on sale June 18th. The series has ran for twelve years and will finally reach a conclusion after 558 chapters. A formal announcement will be made in this week’s issue of Shounen Sunday.”
Man… and here I thought it’d never end. I never exactly read the manga, as the anime pretty much put me off when there was little to no “major” plot progression after 167 episodes. That and I just got tired of hearing “Inu Yasha” “KAGOME!!!!” all the time. I did not relish the thought of reading it too XD.
Jokes aside, I’m sure a lot of Inu Yasha manga fans are crying their eyes out, wondering how they’ll adjust to a new life without an Inu Yasha manga chapter each week. My heart goes to you fans, but nothing good lasts forever eh?
