Enjoying Code Geass R2? I’m sure you are. I know I am… but now there’s this little bit of info that really irks me. See how… slightly odd Geass has been going? I mean it’s GOOD, Great, AMAZING but “some” people would say not perfect.
If you’re one of those people, well you’re right. Code Geass R2 actually went horribly wrong according to an interview Celiss Galvea did with Taniguchi (The Director of Code Geass and Code Geass R2). Read the rest of this entry »

It’s a sad day, but it seems like Funimation is back to playing best friend for Japanese Animation studios. Fans of Hitman Reborn and Nabari Na Ou cry your hearts out, there is NOT going to be another fansubbed release… ever. All the groups fansubbing These two shows have been sent letters by Funimation asking them to comply with the DMCA, an act that was signed in 1998 (Danm you Clinton!).
With both Shinsen Subs and Yuurisan Subs having dropped Reborn and Nabari Na Ou being dropped by Yuurisan and Rumi Productions too, the future looks bleak for those of us who actually wanted to see what was gonna happen.
To make matters worse, BOTH anime were at a rather critical point in their respective stories. We can only hope that some secret group decides to sub both these shows (especially Reborn… which JUST got oh so danm good!) ;_;

Didn’t like the past few Hellsing OVAs? Well good news for you. It seems that from the next OVA (Number 5) the Hellsing Ultimate OVA series will now be handeled and produced by Madhouse (The animation studio behind stuff like Death Note, Trigun, Claymore e.t.c).
While Satelight have lost rights to the series, I’m sure everyone agrees that Hellsing is in able hands. How much of a difference this will make on the art and overall animation is yet to be seen.
Personally, I’m glad. Satelight were doing some weird things with Hellsing since the 3rd OVA. I mean… COMMEDY in a horror+gore+slasher like Hellsing? PLEASE NO! >_>
Here’s hoping Madhouse continue to provide the awesome animation and even keep the dark, extremely serious tone and stay true to the manga this time.

The official Japanese website of the Vampire Knight manga series has announced that the second season of the anime adaptation has been green-lit for broadcast this October on the TV Tokyo station. The 13th and final episode of the first season will run next week in Japan. A Vampire Knight: Cross Academy Broadcasting Club web radio show will also premiere on July 7. On the radio show, Mamoru Miyano, Daisuke Kishio, Susumu Chiba, Junichi Suwabe, and Sōichiro Hoshi will play their fictional counterparts Zero Kiryū, Kaname Clan, Takuma Ichijō, Akatsuki Kain, and Senri Shiki, respectively.
The anime adapts Matsuri Hino’s original manga about Cross Academy, a school where the student body is divided into the “regular” Day Class and the “elite” Night Class. Yuki Cross, the adopted daughter of the headmaster, is one of the few people in the entire school who knows that the Night Class students are vampires. Viz Media has been publishing the manga in North America since last year, and the anime premiered on TV Tokyo on April 7.
