Sword Art Online II Coming in 2014

Many fans were wondering if the immensely popular Sword Art Online would have the rest of its novels and story adapted in a future season (our own FlareKnight among them in his review).

Well everyone will be glad to know that Sword Art Online II has been confirmed for this very year, by way of the official website. A Promotional Video (PV) and a key visual of sorts (pictured above) has also been released into the wild.

Sword Art Online II will cover the Phantom Bullet Arc of the original Light Novel series by Reki Kawahara. This means that fans will finally be able to see Gun Gale Online.

So what do you think? A new SAO anime coming this year. With the announcements of Fairy Tail making a return, and now SAO, it feels like 2012 all over again eh?
