To Aru Kagaku no Railgun Season 2 Announced!

Fans looking for more stuff from the To Aru franchise look no further than a season 2 of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun). Featuring franchise heroine Misaka Mikoto, Railgun Season 1 was given a seal of approval  from us here at Anime Evo for being a perfect spin-off series.

At the recent Dengeki 20th Anniversary event it has been revealed that a new series, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun S, is in the works. More information on the actual staff and talent associated with the project is set to be revealed in the upcoming December issue of Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh, on sale in Japan this very week.

Fans hoping for more of the Toaru Majutsu no Index franchise should rejoice, as the end of the last To Aru Kagaku no Railgun series featured the announcement of the next season of Index as well. Here’s hoping the franchise continues strong as it is now, with both an upcoming movie and this series coming up in the near future.
