To Aru Kagaku no Railgun Season 2 Announced!

Fans looking for more stuff from the To Aru franchise look no further than a season 2 of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun). Featuring franchise heroine Misaka Mikoto, Railgun Season 1 was given a seal of approval<

/em> from us here at Anime Evo for being a perfect spin-off series.

At the recent Dengeki 20th Anniversary event it has been revealed that a new series, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun S, is in the works. More information on the actual staff and talent associated with the project is set to be revealed in the upcoming December issue of Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh, on sale in Japan this very week.

Fans hoping for more of the Toaru Majutsu no Index franchise should rejoice, as the end of the last To Aru Kagaku no Railgun series featured the announcement of the next season of Index as well. Here’s hoping the franchise continues strong as it is now, with both an upcoming movie and this series coming up in the near future.

    Oh, how I’ve been waiting for this. I fully expected it since they seem to be alternated between and Index series and a Railgun series. Happy to see more from Mikoto and especially how she flips out with the occasional appearance of Touma.

    I loved Index but Railgun was too meh, I like Accelerator and Touma much better, plus, Misaka still shows up and is important to the plot. (She’s not even my favorite heroine, I like Last Order and Index more)
    I’m trying really REALLY hard not to spoil Index for me considering there are 14 volumes of light novel not covered in the manga yet
    I JUST WANT A THIRD SEASON OF INDEX
    I’m tired of this moe moe kyun bullshit taking priority
    I’m not saying it was horrible, I watched the whole thing, but its a spin off, it shouldnt take priority over the original story
