Fall 2011 marks the first season with our brand new spanking version 4 being used. Since we ended up spending the bulk of our time working on said update, our preview this season is going to be more of a rundown of what we’ll be covering this upcoming season.
The new season looks to be very exciting! With anticipated projects like Fate/Zero and Guilty Crown starting up, and a ton of sequels for hit series like Working!!, Shakugan No Shana and Sekaiichi no Hatsukoi coming out, everyone on the AE staff is pumped for the new season!

Why we’re blogging this:
Its the prequel story to Fate/Stay Night animated by the studio that the amazing Unlimited Blade Works movie. That just sounds like a recipe for awesome! Being a huge Fate/Stay Night (seen everything,(including the VN) related to the game) I am super super excited for this, along with probably the entire Anime fan community.

Considering I’m a huge sci-fi nerd, this show looks like it will be right up my alley. Given the extreme anticipation and buzz the 2-minute trailer has garnered, I have a feeling that it will be the smash hit of Fall 2011.

Honestly the chance to cover Persona 4 seemed like a great chance when I heard it was getting an anime. Have probably beaten that game 4 times, so easy enough to say I’ve enjoyed the story. A chance to watch this adventure fully animated, yes please 
! An interesting mystery, hopefully good action, and a likable cast is a good combination my mind. The only weird thing will be hearing the Japanese voices from characters I’ve heard dubbed for so long.

ADORED Season 01 and was beyond pleased with the way JC Staff handled the love story between Ritsu and his boss, Takano-san. So yeah, why wouldn’t I come back for more? Especially when I know which stories are coming *boogies* Do want jealous! insecure! Kisa and confident! Yukina! Just bring on more of the cute please!

While it looks to be a general slice-of-life show, I was intrigued by the fact that Madhouse is the production house. It seems like a simple enough show, but knowing Madhouse, they’ll throw something in there for shits and giggles. Plus, I’m genuinely intrigued by the card game that seems to be the focus of the show.

Never thought I’d actually be blogging about a Shana series when I saw the first season a long time back. Really I enjoy some good fantasy action and Shana has had that. Should have some fun times and hopefully a conclusion to one of the oldest love triangles I’ve seen in a while. Really boils down to having enjoyed watching Shana and being ready to talk about it this time.
