As is the case with most Western games these days, it has been announced that Dragon Age Origins will be getting an animated film adaption, directed by none other than director Fumihiko Sori (Famous for the recent 3D CGI movie Vexile the TO OVAs). Oxybot, the animation company that worked on both Vexile and the TO OVAs, will also be handling the animation production.

Funimation has also been announced to be the distributor of the film on DVD internationally (sans Japan) late next year. The movie will get a theatrical release in Japan.  All said info was announced by Japanese Animation and Film Company T.O Interactive.

It seems that the Dragon Age movie will be more along the lines of a full 3D Animated CGI movie rather than a 2D Anime!
