BlazBlue Continuum Shift was the first fighting game to have an extra character as Downloadable Content! The rather expensive Makoto Nanaya was priced at around 7,99 USD. It seems that the popularity of the first DLC character has led to the announcement of a second one, namely Rachel Alucard’s Butler “Valkenhayn R Hellsing”.

Famitsu’s website has the goods on this latest announcement, which was made at Arc System Works’ recent BlazBlue Streaming event. No word on the release date or pricing yet, but we can expect it to be as much if not more than the first, Makoto DLC.

    Agreed! I hope we get it this year, It would be waaay too long if we got it the year after or something. As much as the expensiveness of the BlazBlue DLC vexes me, I’m too much of a fan to pass up extra characters. Now if only they came with their own story modes too!

    Haha, if Jubei was added to the mix, I’m sure he’d be overpowered as hell. He is known to be the strongest being afterall.

      I’ve been trying to think of other possible DLC’s like Torakaka and Litchi’s friend/co-worker (can’t remember her name) I just feel the game has always needed more characters. You seem pretty cool Setsuken, i’m not very good, but we could play Blazblue together sometime, I have it for PS3, my username is “Godslayer333″ Everywhere, from PSN to facebook.
