Fellow Kanan Minami fans! REJOICE! For the 2nd anime dvd for Kyo, Koi wo Hajimemasu HAS BEEN GREEN LIT! In the words of Maximilian Goof from ‘A Goofy Movie’ “EVERYBODY MAMBO!” *dancing in delight* The 2nd DVD will be bundled with limited special editions of the 10th volume of the manga. There will be no changes in the cast or the production team (J.C Staff). More information to be released in future publications of Sho-comi.

The main story behind KKWH is that Hibino Tsubakiis in her first year of high school but she couldnt manage to get into her first choice. To add salt to her wounds, she couldnt even get the representative position in her class either. THAT particular honor goes to the long-haired and very annoying Tsubaki Kyouta. And these two don’t really get off to a good start either. On the first day of school, Hibino cuts off Kyouta’s long hair with a pair of scissors in anger D: Though she looks like a Showa-era girl with pig tails and knee length skirt, Hibino is really good at styling and cutting hair and fixes Kyouta’s hair for him. But Kyouta’s not wholly happy with her and steals her first kiss, telling her that he will steal all her firsts.

Hows that for an awesome start to a relationship ladies (and gents if yer reading). The first anime was bundled with limited editions of the 9th manga volume just last month. The first anime’s ending song will soon be released on CD (sung by Hibino’s seiyuu) and along with it, there will be another song AND the second anime’s ending. This is mean that the second anime was already kinda approved off since before? On July 22, a separate character song CD for Kyouta was shipped with new songs titled “Seasons” and “New World”.
