Oh when will the horror end? Speed Racer? Robotech? Okay we get it, Hollywood, we really do. You’re out of ideas. You’re desperate to find things to make movies of. So you’re looking to comics, anime, cartoons and anything else you can get your hands on. But for the love of GOD, at least, leave those with a movie already MADE, out of your evil grasp!

Alas, fellow Death Note fans (and those of you who loved the Live Action version) Hollywood is making a Death Note, calling it a remake.

Vertigo Entertainment USA the company behind movies like the The Grudge and The Departed, is developing a remake for the Death Note Movie.

Ah yes… I’d like to say “what’s next?”, but you know, I think I’ve already said that too many times since I’ve heard and posted about these movie announcements.

Actually… I was discussing the recent trend of hollywood making movies out of anime and comics… and this is like the only movie, I can see, that would actually be good if hollywood were to do it. It’s not action-packed, it is only drama and suspense, and I think something good can come out of it. Stuff like speed racer is too unrealistic for hollywood to do any good with. v-v

Death Note movie?! I’LL GO SEE IT! I love Death Note. It’s not because I love it that I think it will be good, no, it is just… for this particular anime, I think that Hollywood can make a successful movie.

Can’t think of many other series that could be good as a movie, though. :/

And besides… J-Movies have such HORRIBLE acting. NANA, Death Note, etc. x____x; It embaresses me watching them.
