Anime Innovation Tokyo… what exactly is it you ask? To quote Anime News Network:

“Anime Innovation Tokyo is a joint collaboration between THINK (Neko Rahmen, Synthesisa) and Tokyo Metropolitan Government to foster young creative talent in the anime field”

Foster young creative talent in the anime field? Sounds good! Especially when people like Producer Hiroaki Takeuchi (Kakurenbo, The Animatrix), Central Park Media president John O’Donnell, videogame designer Hiromasa Horie, and indepedent animator Atsuya Uki are some of the people who have produced or presented these works in said Initiative.

Sounds like the birth of a neat new event that’ll show off some interesting previews on the Anime Industry. What’s more, Online video Streaming site Crunchyroll and Japan’s THINK production company have announced that the website will host works from the Anime Innovation Tokyo initiative.

Now only question is, will it be in japanese? and if so, who’s fansubbing it? 😛
